Todd was born in 1979. When he was about 4 years old, his father died in a motorcycle accident when coming home from work. Four years later, Todd and his cousin were playing with some of his father's antique rifles, when he was accidentally shot in the chin. This accident severed his spinal cord at C4 and he became quadriplegic at 8 years old.
Growing up with quadriplegia, Todd and his family managed as best as they could. Todd’s mother Gwen, did not allow him to dwell on his disability, and told him he would only be allowed to stay at home until he was 20 years old. Thus, he learned at a very young age to not let his disability stop his dreams. Todd attended public school, became a Natural Helper, and started attending college classes at 16. A week after turning 18, Todd got his first job as a software developer for a medical software company based in Seattle. Todd worked for the same medical software company for 15 years, becoming their Vice President of Operations, but decided he wanted something more and decided to open his own business.
Today, Todd is a very successful businessman and is the founder and CEO of C4 Consulting Inc., a company that provides database IT services along with physician and patient based online reporting services. He also founded a nonprofit and now serves in an advisory role of TheTSF(a nonprofit that donates technological equipment to the mobility impaired). Todd has a passion for helping others whose situation is similar to his own and speaking to businesses, hospitals, colleges, schools, churches, conferences, and more about his story and overcoming challenges.
